The surrounding area, including the Nirasaki Omura Art Museum, has been developed as Nirasaki Omura Memorial Park.
Within the park grounds, you will find the child hood home of Dr. Satoshi Omura, “Keisetsu-ryo”; the Japanese garden “Soshin-en,” crafted by a master craftsman of modern times; the tea rooms “Sokuo-Shinzashiki” and “Yukyu-an”; a natural flowing-water day-use hot spring; and a soba restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine.
We invite you to enjoy a fulfilling time in this park where art, nature, and history come together.
